For over 20 years, we have been dedicated to health and have been supporting people on their journey toward greater well-being and performance. During this time, we have had the privilege of helping well over 10,000 people take active responsibility for their health.
The positive feedback from our clients, our practical experience, and the growing body of scientific evidence surrounding CO₂ therapy have convinced us to dedicate a separate platform to this fascinating topic.

For many years, I have been exploring a single question: How can something we do more than 20,000 times a day be used to improve health, performance, and well-being?
The answer is: breathing—more specifically, the effect of breathing on carbon dioxide.
Most of us have been taught that CO₂ is a waste gas that the body wants to get rid of. The opposite is true. Carbon dioxide is the body’s primary regulator. It releases oxygen from the blood into the tissues and controls blood flow, airway tone, and the balance of the nervous system. If you breathe more than your body needs, your CO₂ level drops. If you preserve it, many functions begin to work as they are actually intended to.
Almost two decades ago, I founded the Conscious Breathing Institute to turn this insight into something people could use. This work has resulted in books, courses, and products that are now used by therapists, doctors, coaches, and health-conscious people around the world.
I’m thrilled that Roman Gruber and his team share my enthusiasm and are bringing this knowledge to the German-speaking market. What I particularly appreciate about our collaboration is their commitment to education. They explain why breathing and CO₂ are important and how to apply this knowledge in everyday life. Understanding why something works is the key to lasting results.
Many of the products on this website are the result of my own research and development over the years, and it gives me great pleasure to see that they are now reaching people in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
I hope you enjoy discovering what breathing and carbon dioxide can do for you.
